Who We Are
Afya Mzuri is a Zambian non-governmental organisation established in 2003. With over 20 years of implementation experience, we are a trusted partner in community health, combining local knowledge with evidence-based approaches to drive lasting health change.
We have implemented programmes across six provinces of Zambia — Lusaka, Southern, Luapula, Muchinga, Northern — working in partnership with government, donors, civil society, traditional leaders and communities. Our approach is grounded in community ownership, partnership, accountability, inclusion and measurable results.
Our programme areas include TB awareness and community mobilisation, HIV and AIDS prevention and support, adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights, child protection, community wellness, health systems strengthening, advocacy, social accountability and knowledge management.
